Job Description:

Two simple-cycle GE 7FA.05 gas turbines, no SCR

DCS Lead will report directly to the Commissioning Manager. Promote and provide leadership for Safety. Direct and coordinate the daily activities of SU DCS personnel. Assume direct responsibility of all DCS components and systems integrity for completion of contractual requirements with the highest degree of safety and quality.

- Ensure all safety procedures are followed.

- Follow all SU procedures.

- Oversee all Distributive Control System (DCS) commissioning activities and be accountable to the Site Commissioning Manager.

- Directly supervise plant DCS technicians during commissioning phase.

- Maintain DCS software.

- Perform DCS software logic changes per: Control System Change Management Procedure Startup Phase.

- Provide oversight to TFA support.

- Develop Functional Testing log and perform all tests prior putting systems in service

- Maintain log for jumper request, forced points, as well as logic change request.

- Tune Plant controls in preparation for plant performance testing.

- Work with DCS installation representatives to monitor installation of DCS to ensure adherence to manufacturers recommendations.

- Assist Mechanical Lead in performing check-out and commissioning of systems.

- Maintain updated Red-Line/As-Built drawings and documentation, ensuring that all modifications documented are tracked through completion both in the field and on all records.

- Resolve control problems.

- Work with I&C Lead in updating I/O database.

- Work with I&C and Electrical Leads in shooting loops.

- Maintain loop verification data base.

- Elevate issues to Site Commissioning Manager in a timely manner.

- Develop action plan to address any issues.

- Ensure adverse conditions and lessons learned reports are generated when necessary.

- Work with operations staff to verify alarm priorities and execute alarm management.

- Read and adhere to Startup Administration Manual.

- Attend meetings as assigned by Commissioning Manager.

- Ensure DCS personnel attend and/or support all required walk-downs.

- Submit daily activity report summary to Commissioning Manager to detail progress

Qualifications:

- Must have previous Lead DCS Commissioning Supervisor experience.

- Must have previous T3000 experience.

- Previous Simple and Combined Cycle Experience

- Must be authorized to work in the US.
