Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, particularly in commercial and industrial settings. This role involves working on construction sites, interpreting blueprints and schematics, and ensuring that all electrical installations comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC). The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining high voltage systems while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings.

- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand wiring layouts.

- Utilize power tools effectively and safely for installation and repair tasks.

- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure timely project completion.

- Perform high voltage electrical work while adhering to safety protocols.

- Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions.

- Ensure compliance with NEC regulations throughout all projects.

- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to ensure functionality and safety.

- Supervise and train other employees in installation of commercial electrical system and components.

- Ensuring quality of work done by other team members.

Experience

- Proven experience as a lead commercial electrician or in a similar role within the construction industry.

- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage applications.

- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics.

- Ability to work effectively on construction sites while maintaining a safe work environment.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong ability to lead others.

- Strong ability to direct and delegate in high pressure situations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
