Job description

The successful candidate will play a crucial part in the financial management team, with responsibilities ranging from overseeing accounting operations to ensuring compliance and internal controls. This role involves a significant amount of hands-on work, necessitating strong analytical skills and the ability to lead a team effectively.

Responsibilities

•

Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.

•

Assist in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements aligned with GAAP.

•

Provide analytical insights on financial data to support decision-making.

•

Assist in the preparation of weekly cash flow budgets and periodic financial forecasts.

•

Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.

•

Support the reconciliation of accounts and maintain accurate financial records.

•

Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.

•

Assist in audits (internal and external) and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.

•

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the finance department.

•

Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and support.

•

Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of accounting systems, ensuring data integrity and process automation.

Requirements

•

Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role or relevant field.

•

Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems.

•

Experience with ADP – Financial Services is necessary.

•

Ability to perform all Accounting Functions effectively.

•

Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

•

Ability to handle Billing Functions smoothly.

•

Capable of conducting Financial Reporting and Financial Reconciliation.

•

Experience with General Ledger processing and management.
