Job description
The successful candidate will play a crucial part in the financial management team, with responsibilities ranging from overseeing accounting operations to ensuring compliance and internal controls. This role involves a significant amount of hands-on work, necessitating strong analytical skills and the ability to lead a team effectively.
Responsibilities
•Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.
•Assist in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements aligned with GAAP.
•Provide analytical insights on financial data to support decision-making.
•Assist in the preparation of weekly cash flow budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
•Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
•Support the reconciliation of accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
•Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
•Assist in audits (internal and external) and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
•Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the finance department.
•Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and support.
•Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of accounting systems, ensuring data integrity and process automation.
Requirements
•Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role or relevant field.
•Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems.
•Experience with ADP – Financial Services is necessary.
•Ability to perform all Accounting Functions effectively.
•Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
•Ability to handle Billing Functions smoothly.
•Capable of conducting Financial Reporting and Financial Reconciliation.
•Experience with General Ledger processing and management.
