Summary

We are seeking an Applicator to join our team at LandWorks. In this role, you will be responsible for applying various treatments to enhance the health and appearance of landscapes. Your contributions will play a vital role in ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining the beauty of outdoor spaces.

What you’ll be doing:

· Perform granular and liquid lawn fertilization and weed control and pesticide applications according to safety regulations and best practices

· Monitor plant material for insects, disease, and pests

· Identify and diagnose lawn problems

Experience Requirements:

· Proven experience working as a pesticide applicator is required

Licensing/Certification Requirements

· Valid driver’s license with a good driving record

· Valid Category 3 pesticide certification

Schedule:

· Work 10-hour days, dispatching at 7 am Monday thru Friday

· Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

· This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to work 10-hour days

· Ability to adapt to schedule changes based on weather

· Repetitive bending, twisting, kneeling and lifting more than 50 pounds

· Exposure to a variety of noise, dust, dirt, vibrations and fumes

· Exposure to inclement weather and outdoor environment

Responsibilities

· Leadership

o Lead by example by excelling at the general requirements, following through with assigned tasks and performing quality work

o Ownership of workweek hours and indirect budgets

· Job Site

o Contribute to financial success of the job sites through a clear understanding of site expectations and priorities, execution of site details, communicating concerns and recommendations to Crew Leaders

o Utilize phone technology – Aspire work tickets, email and payroll app

· Equipment

o Responsible for the appropriate use and care of the trucks, trailers, all power equipment and hand tools used to perform the job

· Safety

o Contribute to a safe and professional workplace through housekeeping practices at the job site, truck and trailer and LandWorks facility

o Responsible to follow LandWorks safety requirements, state / federal regulations and any job site specific requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
