Set up jobs

Operate and oversee 3200, 4000, and 5000 Watt Trumpf lasers

Manufacture per representative samples, templates, fixtures, prints, routers

Perform in-process inspections per the specified sampling frequencies and characteristics noted on the router. If no characteristics are identified, the operator is responsible for choosing the critical characteristics relative to his operation.

Maintain the quality and integrity of the products by following established quality standards and guidelines

Material handling

Recording accurate production times

Keep area clean, maintain machines per PM schedules

Maintaining bulk steel, drop steel and raw material storage areas

Assist with problem detection, problem-solving, and ways to increase productivity

Keep equipment in working order and report equipment issues immediately

Completing 8D Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement initiatives

Help out in other assigned areas as needed

Willingness to learn

Computer Literate

Ability to drive Tow Motor

Ability to read Blue Prints

Basic math skills

Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Must be able to pull or push with 60 ft-lbs of force

Must be able to grasp parts with hands

Must be able to reach arms fully extended in front and perform work

Must be able to raise arm above head and perform work

Must be able to step up into towmotor

Must be able to be on feet (standing, walking) for 8 hours continuously
