Landscape Designer & Project Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Landscape Designer & Project Manager to join our team. This professional will be responsible for the complete design, specification, and management of landscape projects for residential properties. The ideal candidate will combine creative design skills with practical project management abilities to deliver exceptional outdoor spaces that exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
•Create comprehensive landscape designs for residential properties, from initial concept through final installation
•Develop detailed 3D visualizations and renderings to effectively communicate design concepts to clients
•Prepare accurate cost estimates, project timelines, and client proposals
•Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure profitable and timely completion
•Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints
•Conduct site analyses and assessments to inform design decisions
•Create planting plans with appropriate plant selections for local climate and soil conditions
•Design hardscape elements including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and water features
•Coordinate with installation crews to ensure designs are executed according to specifications
•Perform regular site visits during installation to monitor progress and quality
•Resolve design-related issues that arise during installation
•Source materials and plants from suppliers, maintaining quality relationships
•Stay current on industry trends, sustainable practices, and innovative materials
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, or related field preferred
•5+ years of experience in landscape design and project management
•Proficiency in landscape design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, DynaSCAPE, or similar)
•Strong 3D visualization skills and experience creating realistic renderings
•Experience preparing detailed cost estimates and client proposals
•Knowledge of plants, materials, construction methods, and sustainable landscape practices
•Understanding of drainage systems, irrigation design, and outdoor lighting
•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
•Strong project management abilities, including budget management
•Portfolio demonstrating landscape design skills and completed projects

Pay: $74,770.00 - $83,868.00 per year
