Job Summary:
As a Landscaping Technician with Seabrook Hospitality, you will help maintain the visual appeal and health of our resort grounds and residential landscapes. You’ll work outdoors in a team environment performing tasks such as mowing, pruning, planting, irrigation repair, and more. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, has a strong attention to detail, and takes pride in creating a welcoming environment for guests and homeowners.
Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
•Perform routine landscaping duties including mowing, edging, weeding, trimming, and seasonal planting
•Maintain flower beds, trees, and lawn areas in parks, walkways, and community spaces
•Operate landscaping tools and equipment safely and effectively
•Assist in maintaining and repairing irrigation systems
•Support seasonal cleanup, storm debris removal, and special event preparation
•Ensure all outdoor areas are clean, safe, and visually appealing for residents and guests
•Respond promptly to guest concerns or landscaping-related issues as needed
•Uphold Seabrook’s high standards for hospitality and grounds maintenance
•Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
•Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
•Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods
•Team player with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail
•Basic knowledge of irrigation, plant care, and equipment maintenance
•Flexibility and patience in a constantly evolving environment.
Qualifications:
•High School Diploma or relevant experience.
•Prior landscaping or groundskeeping experience preferred.
•Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
•Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
•All candidates must pass a background check prior to employment.
Physical Requirements (including but not limited to):
•Able to visually identify, observe, and assess distance, color, and depth.
•Required to regularly communicate with others and exchange accurate information.
•Able to operate a computer and other office productivity equipment.
•Frequently move up to 50 pounds and occasionally move up to 100 pounds.
•Ability to work within varying temperatures indoors to outdoors; moving between buildings and working around moving equipment/machines
•Ability to ascend/descend ladders or stairs, stoop/bend, push/pull, and occasionally work overhead and at heights up to and sometimes exceeding 40 feet.
•Occasional exposure to moving objects, dust, fumes, airborne particles, extreme temperatures, electric shock, vibration, chemicals, and noise.
Hourly Rate: $17 per hour
