Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing the aesthetic appeal and functionality of outdoor spaces. As a Landscape Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving landscapes for residential and commercial properties.
Duties
•
Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
•
Dig and prepare soil for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers.
•
Irrigate landscapes efficiently to ensure optimal plant health.
•
Conduct groundskeeping activities such as leaf removal and debris cleanup.
•
Provide lawn care services including fertilization, aeration, and pest control.
•
Trim trees and shrubs to promote healthy growth and maintain shape.
•
Build landscape features such as flower beds, pathways, and retaining walls as needed.
•
Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate landscaping equipment safely and effectively.
Experience
•
Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred but not required.
•
Familiarity with irrigation systems is advantageous.
•
Ability to operate landscaping machinery such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers is essential.
•
Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions is necessary.
•
A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
