Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a commitment to maintaining beautiful landscapes. This role involves various tasks related to landscape maintenance, ensuring that properties are well-kept and visually appealing. The Landscape Laborer will work under the supervision of a crew leader and collaborate with other team members to achieve high-quality results.

Duties

•

Perform mowing and lawn care activities to maintain healthy grass and landscapes.

•

Engage in groundskeeping tasks, including weeding, mulching, and planting flowers or shrubs.

•

Assist in landscape maintenance projects, ensuring all areas are tidy and well-organized.

•

Build and install landscape features such as flower beds, retaining walls, or pathways as needed.

•

Conduct tree care activities, including tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth.

•

Dig holes for planting trees or shrubs, ensuring proper depth and spacing.

•

Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and basic mechanical repairs as necessary.

•

Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and handling tools to prevent accidents.

Skills

•

Proficient in mowing techniques and lawn care practices.

•

Knowledge of groundskeeping principles and landscape maintenance best practices.

•

Ability to build various landscape features with attention to detail.

•

Experience in tree care, including trimming and pruning techniques.

•

Strong digging skills for planting and landscaping projects.

•

Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.

•

Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.

•

Team player with good communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
