Landscape Construction Team Leader

What You’ll Get:

Here Is What You’ll Do:

· Oversee and complete landscape, hardscape, irrigation, drainage, and tree service projects under budget and on schedule with high quality standards.

· Oversee the production of your team, track daily labor on projects, material cost, equipment used, and work with subcontractors to deliver the highest quality product.

· Produce the highest quality project while creating a professional environment so clients enjoy the construction process and team members can have fun and excel in their work.

· Operate equipment in an efficient safe manner.

· Check equipment and materials needed for daily projects.

· Load/unload trucks tools and equipment every day.

· Keep jobsite clean at all times.

· Complete manual labor and equipment operation tasks including but not limited to hand work for trenches, raking, digging etc.

· Must have the ability to lead while working with a team.

· Proactively upselling and suggesting enhancements to customers to make their accounts more profitable.

· Promote company purpose, values and mission encouraging a company culture.

· Implement and execute policies, procedures, safety/training programs, perform accordingly and pass along to other team members.

· Ensure compliance with quality and efficiency standards.

· Must be able to work efficiently and effectively to complete projects in a timely manner.

· Ensure client requests are responded to in a timely manner. Built customer rapport.

· Train team members on all aspects of job (safety, quality, efficiency, equipment).

· Ensure that office receives all paperwork from the field daily.

· Support timely and accurate implementation of procedures and paperwork.

The Requirements You Must Have:

· Demonstrated knowledge of landscape construction tasks, with a preference of seven years applied experience including experience in landscape, hardscape, drainage, grading lighting and irrigation.

· Demonstrated experience of five years in the landscape construction industry or outdoor construction industry.

· In depth knowledge of and experience in construction, landscape, irrigation, drainage, grading, hardscape, lighting, and outdoor living environments.

· Exceptional client-service skills and a keen sense of ownership of responsibilities.

· Strong communication skills – English verbal, written and reading comprehension.

· Basic computer skills and understanding of smart phone applications.

· Be insurable, with the ability to operate company's vehicles.

· Ability to push, pull, lift or move up to 50 pounds unassisted.

· A professional demeanor, appearance and attitude.

The Requirements We Prefer You Have:

· BS degree in Landscape Construction or a related major strongly preferred. Associates degrees and prior landscape construction experience will be considered.

· Bi-lingual in the Spanish language.

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
