Landscape Construction Crew Manager (Foreman)

Hiring Crew Managers for Landscape Construction Services

*Ability to do occasional heavy lifting and heavy work.

*Physical ability to perform edging of planting beds, use of construction equipment, pruning, mulching, shoveling material, moving wheelbarrows up to 8-10 hours a day.

*Ability to lead and supervise crew of at least two laborers

*Ability to communicate effectively with Account Manager.

*Ability to work efficiently with a minimum of supervision.

*Ability and experience driving a truck and landscape trailer.

*Must possess ability to recognize problems with vehicles and equipment.

*Ability to maintain and care for assigned tools and equipment according to preventative maintenance schedules.

*Knowledge of small engine repair, ability to identify minor problems and make field repairs with tool kit and small parts inventory.

*Ability to correctly complete daily timesheets, equipment maintenance logs, leave-behinds and other necessary documentation.

*Keep self and uniforms neat and clean every day and enforce uniform policy for all laborers under span of control.

*Inform supervisor of tardiness, illness, inability to work or other concerns of crew members.

*Expected to work occasional long hours including Saturdays.

*Existing Landscape experience needed!

*Must be able to lift 75 lbs or greater

*Monday-Friday and Saturdays during peak seasons
