PO&G Resources is a rapidly growing, twenty-five-year-old private oil and gas company. With the successful closing of several recent producing property acquisitions and the launch of a second investor fund, the company is currently looking for a Landman to join our growing Land Department. The primary responsibilities of the Landman will be land-related work for a given geographic area while also supporting other functions across land and marketing. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who wants to work as a member of a busy team, is interested in learning new skills, and is flexible and adaptable as priorities change.
· Support land activities in an assigned geographic area under the supervision of the Land Manager
· Assist with negotiating surface damage settlements and surface use agreements
· Prepare and circulate AFEs to partners; coordinate with operations and accounting teams; track partner responses
· Draft and negotiate land-related agreements, as appropriate
· Interpret leases, surface use agreements, and subsurface agreements for the operations team
· Process all Non-Op AFEs and route for approval
· Monitor and report on Lease and Contract Obligations for geographic area
· Analyze oil and gas leases, contracts, and other agreements
· Participate in acquisition and divestiture due diligence efforts, as needed
· Assist in integrating acquired properties and maintaining land files for both legacy and newly acquired assets
· Collaborate with Accounting and Division Order teams to resolve interest owner discrepancies
· Support Owner Relations in resolving escalated mineral owner inquiries
· Assist with regulatory filings and communication with federal/state agencies, as needed
· Provide land-related support for ongoing production operations and infrastructure maintenance
· Monitor crude oil marketing across the company’s asset portfolio and collaborate with marketing brokers to ensure PO&G is receiving competitive pricing for its production
· Bachelor’s degree, PLM or Energy Management degree preferred
· Understanding of land’s interaction with Exploration, Engineering, Geoscience, Legal, Accounting, and Marketing functions
· Familiarity with lease and contract analysis, AFE management, and regulatory frameworks
· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage relationships with landowners, operators, and internal stakeholders
· Experience with BLM, BIA, or other regulatory agencies is a plus
· Proficient in Microsoft office suite; experience in OGSys or Quorum Suite a plus
· Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
· Availability to work full-time, five days per week, in the office

The company's current oil and gas properties are located in: Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Kansas, Indiana, Wyoming, North Dakota, Utah and Mississippi. West Texas, Colorado, and Oklahoma are the company's largest operating regions. Current gross / net production is 4,600 / 3,000 BOE/D. The company plans to continue its historical growth rate by doubling production every three years.
