Land Surveyor

Farmers Electric Cooperative has an immediate opening for the position of Surveyor to join our team. The position requires a high level of problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills. As a Surveyor you will assist the Engineering Department in a wide variety of functions including surveying operations, overseeing project workflows, and ensuring that all survey activities meet regulatory and quality standards. The position of Surveyor requires a bachelor’s degree, Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) Licensed in the State of Texas, and experience equivalent 5 years of full time of broad land survey experience. A familiarity with the electric utility industry is highly desirable. The successful applicant must demonstrate proficiency with ESRI, ArcGIS, Databases, Microsoft Office, and AutoCAD.

This position earns a competitive salary based on experience. We also offer paid training, health insurance, generous paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, a retirement pension plan, and a 401(k) plan. This job is primarily based out of our Greenville, Texas office, with some field reporting and in-office responsibilities. The assigned hours will be Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm.
