Land Development CAD Drafter In Training

We are searching for in-office (no remote option) CAD drafters who are long-term, career-minded individuals, determined to provide the highest levels of customer service to support our clients’ success, and who welcome a challenge to help build a better team, organization, and community.

Responsibilities:

Provide general CAD drafting and design support for engineers, surveying, and/or land planning to produce a variety of design drawings for land development projects. Our Idaho office does not do any architectural drafting*

The day-to-day of doing site civil CAD: Designing master developments with subdivisions containing single-family homes, townhomes, or apartment complexes, as well as a large variety of commercial developments. The design process includes a high level of communication to coordinate with external and internal clients, contractors, various city members, mechanical engineers, plumbers, architects, and more to ensure project success. Designing requires knowledge of city, county, and district requirements to properly design the various pipe networks so the water, sewer, and rainfall flow correctly, allowing proper drainage. Our design includes all aspects of developing a piece of land except for the designing of the building.

Full-time salary: $18.00+ per hour

Internship salary: $18.00 per hour

Schedule: 8-10-hour day shift, Monday to Friday, No weekends, Overtime Available
