Job Overview: We are seeking a proactive Land Development Associate to identify, evaluate, and secure locations for solar and battery storage projects across the U.S. This role focuses on building relationships with landowners and stakeholders, conducting virtual site assessments, to support the development of Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The ideal candidate will play a key role in streamlining land acquisition processes and contributing to the success of our renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities:
•Identify and evaluate potential sites for solar and battery storage projects, considering land use, utility infrastructure, and zoning laws.
•Engage with landowners, real estate agents, and local authorities to generate interest and secure site access.
•Collaborate with internal teams to optimize processes and document standard operating procedures (SOPs).
•Assist in negotiating land option and lease agreements under the guidance of senior team members.
•Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including zoning, permitting, and environmental standards.
•Maintain detailed records of site assessments, contracts, and project-related documents in CRM/ERP systems.
•Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new project opportunities.
•Provide regular reports and updates on site evaluations and market conditions.
•Work closely with project management and sales teams to ensure smooth project execution and progress.
Qualifications:
•Experience in land acquisition, real estate, or renewable energy development is preferred by not essential.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills for outreach and stakeholder engagement.
•Ability to assess market trends and identify new opportunities.
•Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications:
