We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Land Administrator Paralegal to join our renewable energy company. The successful candidate will provide essential support to a remote land acquisition team by managing documentation, maintaining records, and coordinating communication between internal teams and external stakeholders. Experience with Microsoft Office, Teams, and LexisNexis is preferred but not required. Proficiency in Excel is essential. This role is responsible for reviewing, maintaining and tracking all leases and agreements inside the Legal team under the supervision of the Managing Director.
· Maintain lease/contract schedules for all project locations
· Tracks all payment obligations in existing and new agreements, ensures payments are made on time, expirations are flagged for renewal or cancellation
· Develops and maintains comprehensive database of all agreements, and specifically tracks exceptions to corporate standard forms
· Review and interpret lease/contracts for pertinent information
· Provide guidance and assistance to cross-functional team members in the preparation, review and or execution of contracts and related documentation
· Track and reconcile security deposits and insurance requirements tied to all agreements.
· Coordinate with the Project Development team to ensure all leases and contracts are secured
· Advise and interact with land agents to ensure all contracts and lease documents are in order
· Maintain and ensure accuracy of lease and contract files and databases
· Work with the Finance team to ensure compliance with accounting rules regarding lease and contract administration
· Generate reports on the current status of existing agreements.
· Continually evaluate and improve contract processes with a business minded approach.
· Provide assistance with financial statements and project budgets to the Managing Director.
This role is vital to the successful development of renewable energy projects across the USA.
Please note: this role is a Hybrid (4 days in office) role and exclusively located in our Stuart, Florida office.
The Land Administrator Paralegal will report to the Associate Attorney and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the organization.
· Bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies or a related field.
· 2-5 years of real estate law or title work.
· Direct, presentable experience with title insurance, real estate closings, or property records
· High attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
· Proven ability to independently prioritize, plan, and execute tasks in a fast-paced, cross-disciplinary environment.
· Ability to summarize complex issues, identify opportunities, and propose next steps with minimal guidance.
· Passion for learning and contributing to the clean energy transition.
· Familiarity with Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in research and delivery of materials.
· Experience in Sales related outreach a plus
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
· High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
