We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that support the overall operations of our projects including but not limited to assisting electricians and concrete construction. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with others in a fast-paced environment.
We are based in Paradise but have work locations throughout the province. Applicants must be willing and able to work at the out of town locations as required. We will provide transportation, meals and lodging for all work on the road.
- Assist in the preparation and cleanup of job sites to ensure a safe working environment.
- Operate hand tools and power tools as needed for various tasks.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Deliver tools and materials to job sites.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and team leads to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas throughout the day.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors immediately.
- Previous experience in labor or construction work is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as required by project demands.
- Class 5 license with clean drivers abstract.
- Current safety training certifications in Fall Protection, MEWP, etc. would be considered an asset
