Summary

Brushes primer, glue, or other coating onto metal and rubber, or fabricated items by performing the

following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 Reads and understands a tape measure, blueprint, shop order, spec sheet, sales order, stock

orders, and SDS sheets.

 Data entries in Navision, navigates our vault to retrieve drawings, and eventually be able to

navigate Navision.

 Ability to use cutting & associated tools, ability to layout rubber pieces, mixing and application

procedures for various components, and be able to perform duties at the appropriate pace

(Fast!)

 Maintain good quality

 Crane operations- rigging, inspections, and safe travel.

 Safety glasses, safety shoes, and hearing protection, must be worn at all times.

 Helps unload trucks by using hoists.

 Works from written schedule as written by department group leader.

 Places work piece on bench, horses, or floor.

 Cleans surfaces.

 Mixes glue per proper ratios.

 Brushes adhesive onto rubber and sash or other fabricated part.

 Places rubber onto metal and rolls to squeeze out all air bubbles.

 Applies silicone sealant neatly to seams and gaps.

 Will layout and cut rubber as assigned.

 Transfers items to and from work areas.

 Fills out proper paperwork for usage of materials.

 Cleans brushes, scrapers, and other tools before putting away.

 Maintains cleanliness of shop by sweeping floor and picking up trash.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $17.63 per hour
