LABORER (Surface) (6)

This position is responsible for the clean-up assignments delegated to them by the supervisor. Operator will be responsible for identifying and reporting any hazard in any assigned work area. They will be required to report any issues noted on any belt conveyor systems that they will be cleaning around. This includes rollers, idlers, drive systems, mechanical, and vulcanized splices. Removal of buildup, washing, baghouse maintenance. The use of sledgehammers, jackhammers, shovels, and other hand-tools will be required at extensively. Employees will be working from heights, air mailing, removing trash and washing as needed. The equipment required to learn are the following: Skid including the skid attachments-Sweeper, Jack Hammer, Extended Blade, Extended Bucket, Pay Loaders, Vacuum Truck, Manlift, Barrel handler and Forklift. Also, the use of a high-pressure hot water system will be required.

Where will you work: Onsite at 1361 Potash Mines Road - Carlsbad, NM 88220

Schedule: This position is 6am-3pm, 9/80 schedule.
