We are hiring one (1) temporary, full-time Assistant, Laboratory position, working out of the Rossdale Water Treatment Plant and Gold Bar Wastewater Treatment Plant in Edmonton, AB!

Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with high volume, variety and multi-tasking? Do you have experience working in a laboratory environment? If so, we are looking for an individual like you who has exceptional organizational skills and is self-motivated.

Reporting to the Manager, Laboratory Customer Service & Informatics, the Laboratory Assistant will be accountable for, but not limited to:

As our best candidate, you are a team player, have a passion for learning, strong problem solver, with proven organizational and efficiency skills. You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and can work productively with little supervision. You are highly motivated, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and possess an ability to work effectively within a team dynamic. You can manage conflicting priorities throughout the day with minimal supervision and take initiative when completing tasks in a timely manner and to a high standard.

Wage: Starting at $28.39 per hour (Final Wage and Step will be determined at the time of selection and are subject to change based on the ratification of the new Collective Agreement.)

Hours of work: 75 hours bi-weekly
