About This Job

We’re looking for a great teammate who knows their way around the kitchen! As the Salad/Sandwich Spike, you will play a key role with food preparation, sanitation, and safety by actively following our health and safety procedures.

The Role:

•

Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables, and preparing basic items like salad dressings.

•

Stock and manage spike fridges, salad bars, and sandwich stations, ensuring they are well-stocked and organized.

•

Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, including washing dishes, mopping floors, and sanitizing tables and other surfaces.

•

Conduct regular inspections of kitchen equipment and monitor food supplies daily, weekly, and monthly.

•

Ensure your station is staffed and fully stocked with necessary supplies at all times.

Preparation:

•

Prioritize workplace safety and hold a valid food safety certificate.

•

Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work efficiently both supervised and unsupervised.

•

Thrive in a team-oriented environment, collaborating effectively with other kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.

This role is critical for supporting food service operations, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a seamless dining experience for all guests.
