Job *
Description, Role and Responsibilities*
•Complete all jobs according to company standards, practices and mission statement
•Safely load, transport, and unload customer items in accordance with state and local laws
•Assist in training new hires in subordinate roles
•Attend all mandatory training, meeting & events
•Help maintain trucks and equipment with daily inspections and reporting of any observed issues
•Maintain and reinforce a safety culture at the The Junkluggers
•Embrace, implement, and promote continuous improvement ideas
•Provide operational support when needed, such as dispatching
•Serve as point person in the field for both management and your fellow Luggers
•Support recruiting of new team members and promote company values
Competencies
•Excellent interpersonal & communication skills are a must – this is a customer-facing role
•Ability to learn and use technology in the field to execute job requirements, quickly & efficiently
•Learn and master skills of both Navigator and Driver positions
•Ability to effectively utilize and manage resource locations in current territory (donation, recycling & disposal centers) and use them efficiently
•Attention to detail in understanding truck operation, maintenance, and care
•Exhibit a strong safety attitude & be assertive with others when enforcing safety practices and other company policies
•Confident and courageous in reporting infractions, accidents, or other issues to management
•Ability to influence and lead team(s) in field and show potential for advancement
Job requirements
•Ability to work full time, including some Saturdays
•Supply own mobile phone (company will provide tablets for on-the-job duties)
•Pass background check & drug screen
•Maintain active drivers license with satisfactory driving record to be insured as a driver on the team

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
