About the size of a fridge, our patent-pending appliance uses cutting-edge aeroponic technology and automation to deliver more yield and variety than ever thought possible in a Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) system. From root vegetables to leafy greens, Victory provides effortless daily harvests—and over 100 pounds of produce each month—with no food miles, no chemicals, and no waste.

We’re reimagining a world with a farming appliance in every kitchen—not just as a vision, but as a practical path to restoring resilience in how we grow and consume what we eat. By empowering food service providers, communities, and eventually households to grow food right where it’s eaten—and by linking these local producers through a distributed food network—together we can build a new model of hyper-local, sustainable infrastructure designed to reduce the harmful impacts of conventional agriculture.

About the role

As our first Junior Developer – Software / Data Systems

, you’ll help build the foundation of Aera’s Crop Management System

—a data platform that will drive smarter, more personalized crop growth and unlock future machine learning features.

This role is responsible for structuring and managing our internal crop database, integrating environmental sensor data, and supporting product development with scalable backend systems—and is an opportunity to shape the direction of a data-driven, globally reimagined food system.

—ideal for recent graduates (under 30, Canadian citizen, PR, or refugee, and currently underemployed or unemployed in a relevant field). Must be willing to travel to St. John’s, Newfoundland periodically.
