The RWA summer internship program runs from June 2-August 8 (10 weeks), is a paid internship and allows you to work with an organization that is critical to New Haven county’s success and infrastructure. During this program, you will be given the opportunity to grow professionally as well as showcase your skills and abilities. At the end of the program, you will present what you’ve learned throughout the summer to organizational leaders and your peers.
The Junior Architect will provide support in identifying appropriate technology solutions and strategies that support RWA’s business, operational, and IT objectives. The Junior Architect (JA) assists in establishes the current and long-range direction of technology aimed at advancing organizational capabilities to successfully enable change. The JA will assist maintaining a technology roadmap that enables business outcomes and will assist in forecasting business needs in the 3-5-year horizon.
The JA is currently working towards a technology focused degree and is willing to learn the RWA’s business applications and practices. They will assist in providing comprehensive consultation to business areas and IT staff while operating with supervision. Through analysis and assessment of business strategies, technology trends and organizational capabilities, the JA will assist ensure current and future state solutions align with the Enterprise Architecture and assist in provide direction and guidance on technical products and solution architecture to IT staff and vendor partners.
