Jr. Designer

Iconic Elements Inc. is seeking a self-motivated Solidworks Jr. Designer. This is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a growing company, and grow your experience as a Designer using Solidworks and programming automation equipment. Our high-quality Iconic branded products are manufactured in Cambridge just off Hwy 401 and distributed across North America.

Specific Duties:

 Work with design team on creation of CAD drawing files, production prints, and design projects.

 Work together with Iconic team to prioritize, schedule and approval all activities to meet production requirements in timely manner.

 Participate in team meetings to improve processes and streamline production.

 Efficiently create programming files as required for laser cutting & automated punching/ part sorting equipment.

 Learn & apply the maintenance, troubleshooting with software and CNC equipment. The successful candidate will possess the following attributes & proven behaviors:

Other Qualifications:

 College Diploma/Certificate

 Technical requirements: Solidworks, Microsoft Office, Automation/CNC programming.
