Job Overview
An excellent opportunity for an energetic, experienced Journeyperson Pipefitter or Plumber (or 3rd or 4th Year apprentice) to join our team. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team, ensuring that mechanical installations and pressure piping work are completed efficiently and with high quality. Start date August 18 in Saskatoon. Occasional weekend work and overtime is applicable. Our shifts range between 8 hours, 10 hours and 12 hours. 25% of this position will be site work / away from base, within Saskatchewan.
Duties
•Rig, fabricate and install piping systems according to specification.
•Perform welding tasks as needed for pipe connections and repairs
•Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
•Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while on the job site.
Skills
•Proficient in rigging, maintaining, and fabricating piping systems.
•Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot occasional issues.
•Proficient problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•Strong communication skills in English for effective collaboration with team members and supervisors.
Qualifications
•Journeyman / person Pipefitter or Plumber, 3rd or 4th year
•Wage will be based on experience and skill
•Preferably 2 or more years experience in pipe fitting
•Relevant safety tickets are an asset
•Valid drivers license and mode of transportation
•Successfully pass a standard D&A test
