•Monday - Friday 3:00PM - 1:00AM
Overtime/Benefits
•All OT is paid at 2x pay, and vacation and holiday hours count towards the calculation of overtime hours.

•2.5 weeks vacation for new employees, 3 weeks vacation after 3 years and scales up to 6 weeks.
Responsibilities
•Manufacture and inspect detailed parts and tools from blueprints, sketches, drawings, and verbal instructions using a variety of machining tools and equipment ( mills, lathes, drill presses, grinders, jig bores, and other machining equipment)
•Ability to use mathematical and geometrical calculations.
•Determine how to set up machines based on instructions received and perform minor equipment repairs.
•Responsible for keeping the work area clean and free from safety hazards and maintaining acceptable quality and efficiency levels.
Must be able to utilize precision measuring instruments (e.g., vernier calipers, micrometers, surface gauges, dial indicators) to maintain dimensional accuracy and specified tolerances during machining operations
Qualifications
•Technical degree from a trade school or community college; or 2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and company, customer, and governmental specifications and regulations.
•Familiar with Okuma, Hyundai, Bullard VTL, Fanuc, and other machine tools
•Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and co-workers.
•Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
•Knowledge of basic manufacturing and machining operations relevant to a company manufacturing and repairing fluid film bearings.
•General knowledge of machining processes (including cutting fluids, surface finishes and tolerances, turning, drilling, milling, and abrasive processes.)
•General familiarity with materials (steels, nonferrous metals, and alloys).
•Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex technical drawings.
