Journeyman Electrician (Commercial & Residential)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential or commercial settings and a strong understanding of electrical systems, including low-voltage applications. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards.

Duties

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with NEC standards.

- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.

- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete electrical installations and repairs efficiently.

- Work on construction sites to build new electrical systems or renovate existing ones.

- Troubleshoot electrical issues using logic controllers and other diagnostic tools.

- Collaborate with other tradespeople on job sites to ensure timely project completion.

- Adhere to all safety protocols while working in various environments.

Requirements

- Proven experience as an Electrician in residential or commercial settings.

- Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and safety practices related to electrical work.

- Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints related to electrical systems.

- Experience with both hand tools and power tools commonly used in the trade.

- Familiarity with low voltage systems is a plus.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on construction sites.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Valid electrician's license or certification.
