Primary Objective: The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for overseeing and performing any electrical work required for an installation.
- Reviewing plan sets and creating material list
- Confirming electrical calculations
- Layout and assembly of electrical service wall and conduit/wire runs
- Mechanical/structural mounting of electrical equipment
- Electrical wiring of solar array/system (AC & DC)
- Standing inspections and commissioning systems
- Testing circuits
- Landing terminals
- Install jobs within a specified timeframe and document completion of installation
- Ownership of the quality, timeliness, documentation, and safety of each installation
- Clean up of job site
- Additional duties required as needed
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent customer service skills required
- Detail oriented and shows pride in work
- Technical troubleshooting capability
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs of weight frequently throughout the day
- Must be willing to climb ladders, stairs and work on rooftops
- Must have valid driver license and reliable transportation with a clean driving record
- High School diploma or GED required
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal and drug screen
- Must have own hand tools
- OSHA 10 Certification
- TECL Journeyman License
- Verifiable references
- US Citizenship or Work Permit
Physical Demands:Employee is required to walk, lift heavy objects, climb ladders and stairs, and work on rooftops.
