Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented journalier trieur de métaux to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for sorting and processing various types of metals in a warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with hand tools, power tools, and forklifts. Your ability to fabricate and assemble components will be essential in ensuring the efficient operation of our metal sorting processes.

Responsibilities

- Sort and classify different types of metals according to established guidelines.

- Operate forklifts and other machinery safely to move materials within the warehouse.

- Utilize hand tools and power tools for the fabrication and assembly of metal components.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

- Assist in the inspection of materials to ensure quality standards are met.

- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve efficiency in sorting processes.

- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.

Requirements

- Proven experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.

- Proficiency in operating forklifts; certification is a plus.

- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively.

- Ability to fabricate and assemble metal components as required.

- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Willingness to adhere to safety regulations and best practices in the workplace.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
