Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Job Site Supervisor to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with expertise in project scheduling, budgeting, and quality control. This role requires effective leadership skills to manage teams, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and maintain project timelines.
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that all activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera P6 for project scheduling and tracking.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Manage project budgets, including estimating costs using HeavyBid and overseeing expenditures.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to facilitate smooth workflow on-site.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices in construction management.
- Proven experience in construction site management or supervisory roles.
- Proficiency in construction management software including Bluebeam, Primavera, and other relevant tools.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling techniques and budgeting processes.
- Familiarity with pipeline construction methods and heavy equipment operation is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
- Experience in quality control processes and managing contracts within the construction industry.
