We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Job Cost Analyst/ Project Cost Analyst
to join our team on a full-time basis. This role will be based out of our
Calgary, AB,
office.

Responsibilities
:
•Analyze cost and schedule data to support accurate project reporting
•Review purchase orders and contract requisitions to ensure alignment with project scope and budget
•Manage invoice coding, approvals, and perform reconciliations of actuals, WIP, and forecasts
•Prepare and maintain cost reports, including budget, commitments, actuals, accruals, forecasts, and variance analysis
•Support compliance with the change order process and maintain the change order log
•Evaluate key project performance indicators and recommend corrective actions as needed
•Develop and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS)
•Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve invoice, cost, and payment-related issues
•Support project budget development, cost transfers, salary recovery, and billing processes
•Ensure project financial data complies with IFRS and company reporting standards
•Consistently submit timely and accurate cost performance reports
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
•Working towards a Canadian CPA designation is preferred
•Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis, project costing, or accounts receivable
•Experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards is an asset
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
•Experience with AR automation tools is an asset
•Professional, positive attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
