Job Title: IT Back-End Development III

Location: Pittsburgh Pennsylvania 15258 (Hybrid)

Duration : 12 Months (possible extension)

Job Description:

- Back-End Engineer Java 17, Spring, GitLab, CICD, Microservices, Oracle db.

- Design and develop scalable, back-end, data services using SaaS based technology.

- Work in an Agile methodology to provide expertise and share the best software development practices with the team.

- Collaborate with product owners, quality engineers and cross functional teams to provide solutions and solve design and architectural problems.

- Leverage existing open-source technology to meet business demands.

- Work on modernization of an accounting system that shapes the financial world.

Notes

- Backend developer java role

- Minimum of 5 years of related tech experience

- HM is looking for candidates that have continuity and tenure on their assignments

- BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering

- MUST have solid backend java skills, JAVA version 11 preferred

- Solid Front end skills

- Cloud experience is not required

- HM is only focusing on PGH candidates

- No specific angular version experience

- Snowflake experience is not required

- Many candidates failed the technical exp.

- Candidates MUST be able to elaborate on their tech experience

- MUST have strong communication skills

- Must have good coding experience.

- Experience with Spring boot, Kafka is required

- HM is not looking for project leads, but candidates that have hands on experience being a back-end developer.
