Key Responsibilities
•System Administration & IT Support
•+ Manage and maintain Windows-based servers, workstations, and network devices.
+ Provide technical support and troubleshooting for internal staff on hardware, software, and network issues.
+ Ensure system performance is optimized and monitor systems for potential issues.
+ Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings via Active Directory (AD).
•Office 365 Technical Support
•+ Provide ongoing support and administration for Office 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, etc.).
+ Manage user licenses, email configurations, and troubleshooting Office 365 applications.
+ Assist in configuring and deploying Office 365 apps to internal users.
•Backup & Disaster Recovery Management
•+ Oversee and maintain backup systems (cloud and on-premises), ensuring regular backups and effective disaster recovery protocols.
+ Test and verify backup and recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
•+ Manage and apply security patches and updates to Windows operating systems, third-party applications, and server environments.
+ Utilize automated patch management tools to streamline update processes.
•Azure Cloud Infrastructure Management
•+ Manage and configure Azure cloud resources including virtual machines, storage, and networking components.
+ Administer Microsoft Entra ID, VPNs, and site-to-site connectivity.
+ Monitor the health and performance of cloud-based systems and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues.
•Network and Security Support
•+ Administer network security measures, including firewall management (Meraki, Fortinet) and monitoring of traffic.
+ Assist with the configuration and maintenance of Meraki and Fortinet hardware for secure, high-performance network operations.
•Documentation & Reporting
•+ Maintain and update technical documentation on systems, configurations, and procedures.
+ Generate and present regular reports on system performance, patch compliance, backup status, and security measures.
•General IT Support & Troubleshooting
•+ Provide technical support to internal staff for various software and hardware issues.
+ Collaborate with other IT team members to enhance system reliability and troubleshoot issues.
Required Qualifications
•Proven experience as an IT Technician, System Administrator, or similar role with a focus on system and network administration.
•Strong experience with Office 365 management (including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams).
•Experience managing Azure Cloud Platform (Azure VMs, networking, storage, Azure AD).
•Proficiency in managing Windows Server environments (installation, configuration, and maintenance).
•Experience with backup management solutions (cloud-based and on-premises).
•Familiarity with patch management tools and security patching protocols.
•Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs) and network troubleshooting skills.
•Hands-on experience with Active Directory (AD), Group Policy, and LDAP.
•Ability to work well in a team environment, demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
•Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA Network+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
•Experience with Meraki and Fortinet network hardware (firewalls, switches, VPNs).
•Experience with Veeam backup and recovery.
•Familiarity with NinjaOne RMM (Remote Monitoring & Management) for systems management and endpoint monitoring.
•Experience working with Bentley Systems Software (or other engineering-focused software suites).
•Knowledge of ITIL or similar IT service management frameworks.
