As an IT Support Specialist, you will be essential in providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure within the organization. Reporting to the IT Manager, your role involves troubleshooting software and hardware issues, managing computer systems, and assisting users with Microsoft Office and networking challenges. Qualifications
•College degree in Computer Systems, IT, or a related field, or 3+ years of experience in a similar role
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
•Technically savvy with excellent written and oral communication skills
•Working knowledge of networking concepts, IT infrastructure, and computer systems
•Experience with troubleshooting and supporting business applications
•Self-motivated with strong analytical, diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
•Preferred: Knowledge of Salesforce development, Ruby on Rails (Full Stack), PostgreSQL, Heroku, REST APIs, Google Maps API, and related technologies
Responsibilities
•Prioritize daily tasks and operational responsibilities to ensure deadlines are met
•Provide IT and application support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and business applications
•Perform systems administration tasks, ensuring all systems are functioning
•Assist in network administration and coordinate with third-party providers to address network, application, and connectivity issues
•Support users with tech-related inquiries, escalate complex problems to the appropriate teams, and track resolutions
•Install, configure, monitor, and maintain software, business applications, and hardware systems
•Help improve and optimize IT and application processes to ensure reliable, scalable, secure, and high-performing systems
•Maintain confidentiality and security of company data, documents, and user access
•Document and track technical issues, policies, procedures, and system implementations
•Provide support for company-issued devices, including cell phones, iPads, and laptops
•Assist with upgrades, migrations, and the integration of new applications into existing systems
•Work with Salesforce development, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Heroku, REST APIs, and Google Maps API as part of application support and troubleshooting
•Evaluate potential risks and technical challenges, then develop action plans to address them
•Travel as required for system installations and/or maintenance at various locations.
•Offer urgent assistance after hours or on weekends when necessary
•Perform additional tasks as assigned by management

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
