Job Summary
The IT Specialist II role is responsible for assisting and leading the efforts in diagnosing and resolving intermediate to advanced technical issues, ensuring optimal functionality of our IT systems, and supporting end-users across multiple locations. This position is critical to maintaining a responsive and reliable IT environment that meets the operational needs of a high-volume distribution network.
What You Will Do Technical Support & Troubleshooting* Diagnose and resolve escalated hardware, software, and network issues from Tier I support.System Administration* Leads efforts in managing user accounts, permissions, and access in Active Directory and other directory services.
End-User Support* Respond to user requests and provide solutions to software or hardware issues within established SLA timeframes.
Teamwork and Dedication* Team-oriented attitude to help other colleagues and departments with technical problems.
Additional* Act as back-up support to the IT Manager
Physical Demands* Able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
Work Environment* Typically work is performed in an office setting.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required* Associate degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field;
Preferred* Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications) preferred.
