We are seeking a seasoned IT Project Manager to lead and deliver complex technology projects within the utilities sector. The successful candidate will have a proven track record managing multi-disciplinary IT initiatives, ideally within energy, water, or related utility environments. In this role, you will oversee the full project lifecycle—from strategic planning and stakeholder engagement to procurement and contracting, execution, delivery, and post-implementation review—ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
You will be a partner with technical teams, business units, and external vendors, championing best practices in project management, risk mitigation, and organizational change leadership. Your leadership style combines strong organizational skills with a collaborative, communicative approach that empowers teams to excel in a dynamic, high-stakes environment.
The IT Project Manager manages and coordinates the planning, development, organization, communication, and implementation of medium to large-scale projects. Projects impact one to several business functions, have moderate to large budgets, and require work and coordination of both internal and external individuals and groups. Utilizes standard project management controls for project development, document management, cost control, tracking of schedules, negotiation, and conflict resolution. Serves as the primary point of contact and conduit for communication between the project proponent, various internal business groups and external resources. A professional in the field of project management with a primary job role of leading teams through project phases or iterations (e.g., initiating, planning, execution, closure, or sprint cycles). Manages complex information technology projects to implement, upgrade, enhance, or replace critical software solutions and information technology infrastructure. Understands and can apply various project management methodologies (e.g., Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), waterfall, Agile and combinations) to optimize approach best fitting project objectives and team dynamics. Skilled in leadership techniques including facilitation, communication, and conflict management in support of building strong, results-oriented teams. Understands root-cause analysis and can lead process to identify, analyze, and resolve risks and issues. Coordinates cross-functional teams of technology and business professionals across the organization.

Expertise in both IT and OT and the ability to navigate the intersection of IT and OT environments is highly desirable.
IT Project Manager II $114,420 to $143,025 Annually
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, AND
- Two (2) years of directly related experience managing projects and/or teams;
- Six (6) years of directly related experience managing projects and/or teams.
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
- Certified Scrum Master Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification and Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM)Certification or other Agile related Certifications
IT Project Manager III $143,528 to $179,410 Annually
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, AND
- Four (4) years of directly related experience managing projects and/or teams;
- Eight (8) years of directly related experience managing projects and/or teams.
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
- Certified Scrum Master Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification and Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM)Certification or other Agile related Certifications
