About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated
IT Intern with hands-on experience in Microsoft Power Platform tools
to join our team as an Intern focused on
workflow automation
and
digital process improvement
. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the intersection of IT and business operations, helping build digital tools that drive real impact across various departments—including Human Resources, Accounting, and Safety.
This role will be approximately
80% focused on workflow automation and digital solutions
, and
20% dedicated to general IT support
, assisting end users with troubleshooting and technical issues as needed.
What You’ll Do•Develop Digital Workflows: Design, build, and test automation workflows and custom applications using Power Apps and Power Automate to improve business efficiency.
•Support Document Management: Help organize, manage, and secure digital content using SharePoint, ensuring better access and collaboration across teams.
•End User IT Support (20%): Provide basic IT assistance and troubleshooting for employees, helping resolve technical issues in a timely and professional manner.
•Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with IT professionals, business users, and subject matter experts to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement impactful solutions.
•Continuous Improvement Projects: Participate in projects focused on streamlining processes and enhancing digital workflows—including initiatives that support IT Security and reporting.
•Leverage Emerging Tech: Explore and integrate technologies like Microsoft Copilot to enhance document processing and identify opportunities for innovation.
Requirements
•Prior hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint).
•Basic IT troubleshooting skills and a willingness to support users with technical issues.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
•Interest in digital transformation, process automation, and continuous improvement.
•Willingness to work on-site during the internship period.
