IT Business Analyst (On-Site Position)

Burrtec is a well-established refuse and recycling collection company serving over fifteen municipalities throughout Southern California and employing over 1400 full-time employees. We have the following ON-SITE/NON-REMOTE position at our Fontana Corporate division:

IT Business Analyst

SALARY RANGE: $95,000 - $125,000/year

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Business Analyst’s role is to plan, design, develop, and help implement efficient business, financial, and operations systems to support Burrtec’s core business processes within the IT department. This includes gathering and analyzing data to support business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. The Business Analyst is also responsible for generating and compiling reports based on the findings, complete with probable causes and possible solutions to business issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of Business Analyst experience or + Associate’s Degree and 6 years of Business Analyst experience or + 8 or more years of Business Analyst experience

COMPETENCIES:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:

This position requires standing and/or sitting for prolonged periods—up to 8 hours or more per day—manual dexterity and vision sufficient to operate a personal computer for long periods without experiencing abnormal hand, wrist, or eye strain. It also requires hearing sufficient to understand conversations, both in person, via video conferencing, and on the telephone.

The work area is primarily in an office setting and may have fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.
