ISO Quality Inspector

SUMMARY

EVS Metal is a leading American manufacturer of Precision Fabricated, Machined Metal and Integration services. We have an immediate opening for an experienced in process Quality Inspector. We are seeking a high energy, motivated person to perform in process inspections and will be involved with other aspects of our quality management system including non-conforming material, corrective actions, and other support activities. The individual will work independently, promote continuous improvement, and assist in maintaining the high standards of quality for our company. Experience with ISO 9001:2008 is an integral part of our system.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Visual/mechanical inspection of incoming raw material, outsourced product to include machined parts, parts with special processes applied and utilizing drawings and checklists.

· Ensure that standard procedures are followed in all aspects of work

· Perform final inspection of outgoing product utilizing purchase orders, routers and drawings

· Complete inspection forms and enter results into ERP system as required

· Follows departmental Standard Work and recommends improvements to the inspection process

· Interacts collaboratively with other departments – Quality, Engineering, Operations, Warehouse – to support Quality at the Source and Continuous Improvement.

· Understands the proper operation, use and handling of calibrated measurement equipment.

Requirements:

· Has a minimum of a High School diploma/GED plus 3+ years of inspecting fabricated and machined metal parts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
