Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape irrigation systems, demonstrating proficiency in both manual and mechanical tasks. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance and water efficiency for various landscapes.
Responsibilities
•
Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems, ensuring proper functionality and efficiency.
•
Utilize hand tools and power tools to dig trenches, build irrigation setups, and perform necessary repairs.
•
Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues or areas for improvement.
•
Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to integrate irrigation solutions into overall garden care.
•
Troubleshoot mechanical problems related to irrigation equipment and implement effective solutions.
•
Educate clients on proper irrigation practices and water conservation techniques.
•
Maintain accurate records of service performed on each system.
Requirements
•
Proven experience in irrigation (2 years required)
•
Valid Colorado driver's license (required)
•
Clean Motor Vehicle History (required)
•
Ability to pass background check (required)
•
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely.
•
Ability to dig trenches and perform physical labor as required by the job.
•
Familiarity with various types of irrigation systems and their components.
•
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
•
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
