Mundoro is a publicly listed company on the TSX-V in Canada and OTCQB in the USA with a portfolio of mineral properties focused primarily on base and precious metals. To drive value for shareholders, Mundoro’s asset portfolio generates near-term cash payments to Mundoro and creates royalties attached to each mineral property optioned to partners. The portfolio of mineral properties is currently focused predominantly on copper in two mineral districts: Europe and the southwest USA.
- Build and manage relationships with external media contacts.
- Manage preparation of media briefs, media strategy, and media liaison with marketing organizations as appropriate.
- Identify new media outlets and platforms with next generation audience of investors and stakeholders.
- Oversee production of videos and photography for use in various communication channels.
- Oversee social media program including content calendar and content generation.
- Provide support and respond to inquiries from retail and institutional investors.
- Organize participation in roadshows and investor and trade conferences.
- Manage writing and editing of communication materials such as drafting & editing presentation materials and messaging documents.
- Maintain and update monthly the corporate presentation published on the company’s website.
- Maintain client relationship management (CRM) database and perform quarterly analysis of shareholder and peer ownership, marketing effectiveness and stock price movements relative to peer group.
- Research and analyze industry, market, and competitor information;
- Support management team in drafting, editing and dissemination of press releases.
- Assist in the development, coordination and participation in presentations to shareholders, research analysts, and other members of the financial community.
- Ensure website content is accurate and updated regularly and serve as primary liaison with Web service provider, website designer to oversee maintenance and management of website.
- Work with various functional areas to coordinate website updates.
- Develop and create new website content when updates are required.
- Post media interviews to website and oversee purchasing of media licensing rights of interviews by senior executives.
- Other related duties as required.
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in corporate communication, marketing, or similar experience
- Mining industry experience would be an asset but not required
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of graphics software, such as Canva, Figma, Inkscape or similar
- Working knowledge of financial software such as Bloomberg/Factset/Capital IQ
- Strong organizational skills and a high attention to detail are critical to success in role
- Ability to work within tight timelines and comfort working longer hours periodically
- Strong Communication skills (oral, written, presentation)
- Motivated team player who can work independently and collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders
- Must be willing to work remotely and have ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as needed
