The Inventory Control Analyst II is an experienced professional with knowledge of and some experience with inventory management principles, practices, concepts, and theories. Supports and provides guidance to the Warehousing function. Independently completes their work through collaboration with the Supervisor – Inventory Control, Storekeepers, and Field Warehouse Supervisors. Responsible for supporting multiple storerooms across a dispersed geographic area. Seeks opportunities for process improvements, shares technical knowledge with warehouse personnel, and provides guidance to entry level Inventory Control team members.

- Provides technical guidance to storekeepers in multiple storerooms within responsibility area.
- Clears SAP inventory system errors. Ensures EWM and ERP (SAP S/4 Hana) remain in balance.
- Manages the cycle count process for all storerooms within responsibility area and provides progress reporting to Supervisor.
- Assists Purchasing and Accounts Payable with correcting GRIR errors.
- Assists with testing process changes in test environments.
- With team members, hosts monthly SAP-related training sessions for warehouse personnel.
- Reviews daily reorders to ensure requisitions are accurate and timely.
- Updates the material master as needed.
- With guidance, performs data mining and prepares analysis for inventory management decisions.
- With assistance, monitors Key Performance Indicators and shares trends with Field Warehouse Supervisors and Storekeepers.
- With guidance, assists in developing and updating work instructions, job aids, and training documents for Inventory Control and the Field Warehouses.- Required Education, Skills & Experience - Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field and 3-5+ years of inventory management experience or 7+ years equivalent work experience
- SAP EWM experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of inventory management leading practices
- Strong planning and project management skills
- Proficient in the use of Excel
- Willingness and ability to learn new technologies on the job
- Proficient at functioning effectively within a team environment, presenting ideas and opinions in a respectful and collegial manner
