Position Summary
Osmose is seeking a motivated and curious intern to join our Enterprise Data team. This internship offers a hands-on experience ideal for students eager to explore the intersection of software development, data engineering, analytics, and artificial intelligence within a real-world business environment.
Essential Responsibilities
Programming & Development
•Write and maintain scripts in Python for data transformation and internal applications.
•Use SQL to query and manage data across relational databases.
•Implement JavaScript to enhance front-end interactivity in internal tools.
Data Engineering
•Apply modern data integration techniques to unify data from multiple source systems.
•Perform data cleansing to enhance the accuracy and usability of large datasets.
•Gain exposure to cloud-based Enterprise Data Warehousing design and operations.
•Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum development framework.
Data Visualization
•Design and publish dashboards in Power BI for business intelligence and reporting.
•Build internal-facing tools and prototypes using Streamlit for lightweight data applications.
Artificial Intelligence & Advanced Analytics
•Explore use cases of Snowflake Document AI for extracting and processing unstructured data.
•Learn how cloud platforms enable scalable analytics and AI workflows.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
•Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
•Strong interest in data technologies and software development.
•Familiarity with Python, SQL, and/or JavaScript preferred.
•Enthusiastic about learning and contributing in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
•Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
