About This Job

Position Summary

Osmose is seeking a motivated and curious intern to join our Enterprise Data team. This internship offers a hands-on experience ideal for students eager to explore the intersection of software development, data engineering, analytics, and artificial intelligence within a real-world business environment.

Essential Responsibilities

Programming & Development

•

Write and maintain scripts in Python for data transformation and internal applications.

•

Use SQL to query and manage data across relational databases.

•

Implement JavaScript to enhance front-end interactivity in internal tools.

Data Engineering

•

Apply modern data integration techniques to unify data from multiple source systems.

•

Perform data cleansing to enhance the accuracy and usability of large datasets.

•

Gain exposure to cloud-based Enterprise Data Warehousing design and operations.

•

Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum development framework.

Data Visualization

•

Design and publish dashboards in Power BI for business intelligence and reporting.

•

Build internal-facing tools and prototypes using Streamlit for lightweight data applications.

Artificial Intelligence & Advanced Analytics

•

Explore use cases of Snowflake Document AI for extracting and processing unstructured data.

•

Learn how cloud platforms enable scalable analytics and AI workflows.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

•

Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

•

Strong interest in data technologies and software development.

•

Familiarity with Python, SQL, and/or JavaScript preferred.

•

Enthusiastic about learning and contributing in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

•

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
