Our Part-Time/Summer positions allow college students to learn our industry, right where the action takes place. This will be a hands-on experience for students, to learn the industry from the ground-up. You’ll work alongside some of the best in the aggregate business. This a great opportunity for students with minimal or no mining industry experience to gain first-hand knowledge of an underground stone operation.
Reporting to the Director, Engineering, the Engineering Intern will learn the functions and processes of Martin Marietta’s Enterprise Engineering Services. Engineering Services oversees initial design and engineering, budgeting, procurement, construction management, and commissioning of Operations projects across the company. Additional activities include operational excellence audits, data collection and analysis, plant flow modeling, safety audits, and engineering support for exiting locations.Intern Responsibilities:* Must be safety conscious, dependable, and motivated.
Qualifications and skills:* Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Construction Management
