The job location will be in Virginia Beach with the Operations Division, Interceptor Operations, South Shore Department.

Brief Description

Under broad guidance, the Engineering Intern will assist their respective departments with engineering tasks, such as preliminary background investigations, engineering calculations, data analysis, construction inspection, and other office and field tasks, to support the design, operation, and maintenance of HRSD’s pump stations, pipelines, and treatment plants. Job Requirements

Education

Required* Currently enrolled college students from an accredited college/university pursuing undergraduate degrees in Engineering, Computer Science, GIS, Environmental Science, or related field

Desired* Rising Junior or Senior from an accredited college/university pursuing undergraduate degrees in areas of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Modeling & Simulation, or Systems Engineering

Experience Required* None

Licenses and Certifications Requirements

Required* Valid driver’s license from state of residence
