About This Job

Hazen is seeking a summer intern for a variety of water-related assignments. The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of water, wastewater, stormwater, reuse, and/or infrastructure projects, which can include treatment, distribution, and collection systems.

Responsibilities:

•

Integrating with design team from initial studies and conceptual design through construction of pipelines, pump stations, and/or treatment facilities.

•

Field investigations and site visits from design through construction.

•

Supporting engineering staff on water and wastewater projects related to municipal facilities and conveyance infrastructure.

Minimum Qualifications:

•

Candidate must possess excellent writing, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

•

Must be proficient in all computer software typically used (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

•

CADD and other software (GIS, etc.) skills are a plus.

•

Candidate must have strong organizational skills.

Educational Requirements:

•

Pursuing B.S. or M.S. degree in environmental, civil, chemical, or mechanical engineering.
