Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Intermediate Accountant to join our dynamic team in Dieppe, New Brunswick.

Reporting to the Controller, the Intermediate Accountant is responsible for performing accounting/finance functions, reporting and other related duties contributing to the success of Imperial Manufacturing Group.

Work to be Performed:

- Full cycle accounting support, including month-end journal entries and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts

- Assist in the preparation of accurate monthly financial statements and management reports

- Ensure compliance with established accounting standard procedures

- Prepare templates, wire payments and other banking tasks

- Maintain accounting schedules

- Assist on year-end audit files

- Work on special projects as requested

- All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

- Minimum three years of related work experience

- University degree in accounting. Working towards your completion of CPA Accounting designation is an asset.

- Solid interpersonal skills and an ability to work as part of a team and independently.

- Excellent communication and attention to detail

- Organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Able to meet reporting deadlines as required

- Intermediate level with Microsoft Excel is required

- Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset

- Experience using an ERP system (Oracle) is an asset
