Integrated Operations Center Superintendent

About the role
The Superintendent IOC is responsible for scope, design, development, build and management of an Esterhazy integrated operations center (IOC).
What will you do?* Lead Development build and management of the Esterhazy IOC.
•Develop, build, and manage an Esterhazy IOC, work with site leadership to resource the IOC to ensure the meeting of production needs.
•Responsible for daily production.
•Specifically, activities associated with quality, production and human capital development to ensure goals are met in a safe, environmentally responsible and efficient manner.
•Develop short range plans in conjunction with site management to achieve strategic goals.
•Use of change management skills to effect operational and cultural change site wide.
•Collaborate with key site and business stakeholders to identify opportunities that will optimize and improve production performance of Mine, Hoist, Mills, Loadouts, logistics and planning.
•Provide clear direction of behavioral expectations, business goals and performance standards to the team as well as timely and constructive feedback. Successfully develop direct reports through career development planning, coaching and performance management and maximize effectiveness of resources.
•Use complex judgement and in-depth analysis to develop sustainable and innovative solutions to address operation’s needs.
•Develop and lead change to execute strategic priorities that meet business objectives.
•Seek innovative ways to drive change and increase efficiency, maximize output and deliverables of team.
•Utilize data, technology, power BI, machine learning, short interval control to drive day to day and strategic business decisions.
•Miscellaneous job duties as assigned.
What you’ll need:* 10+ years of related experience
•8+ years of related operations experience including management of people
•Bachelor's degree in engineering Preferred.
•Self-motivated with ability to use independent judgment and sound logical to make business decisions.
•Ability to influence others.
•Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Strategic planning skills. Highly effective communication and facilitation skills. Excellent business acumen skills.
