POSITION SUMMARY:
Overall, this position entails managing instrumentation reliability at the Marathon Refinery in Detroit, Michigan. This includes budgeting for planned equipment replacements, troubleshooting existing issues, implementing new solutions and creating new reliability programs targeting longer run-times and safer operations. The position requires a large amount of teamwork, collaborating and interfacing with all departments of both the refinery, as well as various corporate entities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:* Works collaboratively with multiple disciplines to analyze instrumentation and analyzer failure trends, conducts detailed root cause analysis; recommends and implements appropriate corrective action to maximize equipment availability and reliability.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:* Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college required.
